Dear LRES Families and Business Owners,

Laurel Ridge Elementary School PTA is so excited to host its 2nd Annual Run, Walk & Roll this year on October 11. This exciting event helps our students raise money (powered by Boosterthon) that will go toward improving our school through new projectors and old equipment removal. The money raised will also assist in providing books to the teachers’ reading room and for each grade level, fund teacher grants, and provide field trip transportation. Students will collect per lap pledges or one-time gifts from friends, family and neighbors.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year!  Boosterthon is a fun, nine-day program that combines world-class character content with a highly profitable fundraiser.

To increase the excitement and school spirit of this event, we’re providing each of our 846 students with a FREE custom t-shirt to wear the day of our event. In order to make this happen, we need your help! We’re hoping to partner with local businesses to help sponsor our shirts. If your business would like to sponsor our t-shirts, please see the information below for pricing and details. Your logo or name will be displayed on the back of a shirt worn by students year-round, providing continuous exposure for your business! Benefitting PTA Programs

 

This year we are excited to host an online Silent Auction that will open May 1st and close on May 15th here on our website (link to be provided).

Our silent auction will specifically support our campaign to put two more water bottle filling stations in our school. At approximately $2000 each (not paid for by the district) these are a big expense but something our students and teachers can really benefit from. 

 

Items will be ready for pickup on May 17th
