What Is the Run, Walk, & Roll Fundraiser?
The LRES PTA has partnered with Boosterthon (a company who coordinates an online giving platform and fun run set-up) to coordinate a pledge drive culminating in students running, walking, or rolling around a track to earn those pledges. People can pledge a flat donation or pledge per lap. There will be a maximum of 35 laps around the track. Students’ laps will be marked as they complete each lap, tallied at the end of the event, and entered into each student’s account. Every student participates in the Run, Walk, and Roll and every student gets a complimentary (thanks to our sponsors) event t-shirt.

Why Do We Do It?
The LRES PTA is organizing this large scale fundraiser to provide funding for the many school wide programs and projects we support throughout the year. These include field trips, grade level assemblies, school improvement items, instructional supplies, family night events, reading room books, staff appreciation, and more. Our goal is to raise $40,000 to support this effort.
Are There Incentives: Yes!
-
Boosterthon Prizes: As a part of the Boosterthon system, students can earn prizes individually for reaching various pledge levels. These prizes will be distributed by the Boosterthon team.
-
School Wide Incentive: If we raise our goal amount of $40,000, there will be a school wide prize. This prize will be announced in future morning announcements.
-
Daily Homeroom and Teacher Incentives: There are nightly challenges for each day of the campaign! Based on new pledges each day (from 8am-8am), a homeroom class and teacher (including IA if the class has one) will be awarded a prize. Prizes vary by day. Details about the class prizes will be shared this week!
